The project

Qubi was a startup we built to help small and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan create their own websites. The idea was simple: generate a website, preview it, make changes, and get a site ready for your business. The platform also appeared under the name QubeAI.

My contribution

Led the team as Co-Founder and CEO, working alongside a CTO, a marketer, and a designer.
Planned the product, organized the team’s work, set tasks, and wrote technical requirements.
Discussed technical decisions and technology choices with the team. Occasionally helped the CTO with layouts and small development tasks.
Presented the startup at events and competitions.

What I took from it

Qubi didn’t become a sustainable business. A lack of entrepreneurial experience was part of the reason. Still, we turned an idea into a working product, led a team, and gained practical experience in product planning, development, and pitching.
